The Dana Leong Band
US electro-trip-hop-rock group in Vietnam.
December 6 at the Youth Theater in Ha Noi.
The leader of the band, Leong, uses a laptop both onstage and in studio to create cinematic soundscapes of electronic beats while manipulating instruments’ sounds through real-time processing.
The result is a unique fusion of computerized instrumental hip-hop funk rhythms and jazz and rock propulsions.
